Alma 30
Korihor led away the hearts of the people “causing them to lift up their heads in their wickedness.” That is precisely what those who promote homosexuality are doing. It’s not that feelings of homosexual attraction make a person wicked but those who promote it are inviting people with those feelings to act on them – which is wicked – and to celebrate those unholy feelings as the core of their identity.
What a consequence for Korihor. He would receive a sign if he again denied God and the sign would be that his last words would be to deny God. His last words were a pathetic attempt at non-committal disbelief. The reason that a sign was granted at all was so that Korihor would no longer have the power to lead people astray.
How many people will eventually see a sign that causes them to say “I know that nothing save it were the power of God could bring this upon me; yea, and I always knew that there was a God.“
