We aren’t supposed to do good works with the intent to be seen by men for those good works. On the other hand, there are times when it does more good to have your good works known. For example, Laura and I choose to donate enough money to a pornography recovery movie so that we could get our names listed as producers. The goal was to be seen not for the praise of men but to encourage others to make a point of supporting worthy endeavors. We wanted or children to know of our efforts to support such things.
