Despite his insecurities, feeling young and slow of speech, Enoch spoke out to the world to share the gospel. He did in defence of his people when the armies who fight against Zion came to war and he did so with such power that they fared his city even though it was filled with the most peaceful people on earth.
On an unrelated note: the seed of Cain were not only black but they were separate from the rest of the seed of Adam. I wonder if their curse was to live without the blessings of civilization and if their remains are what archeologists identify as cave men. It could even be that the posterity of Cain couldn’t receive the priesthood until they began to integrate with the rest of the children of men.
Enoch was the third patriarch, after Adam and Seth, to exit mortality. When he saw God cry over the wickedness of mankind he wondered why God wasn’t satisfied with the peace and righteousness if the city of Enoch that He had taken to His own bosom. Heavenly Father taught Enoch of His great love for all His children. Enoch learned the lesson so well that eventually his heart swelled “wide as eternity” and he wept bitterly for the wickedness of his brethren. The Lord then taught him about hope and faith as He showed Enoch how Noah and his family would be saved as the wickedness was washed away from the earth. He also showed Enoch of the life and atonement of the Savior in the meridian of time.
