I’m sure that it wasn’t too hard to find righteous men in Zerahemla after the covenant of the people following the sermon by king Benjamin but Ammon stabs out because of the circumstances he found himself in after being selected to lead the expedition to find the people who had been established by Zeniff. Once he found them he was left to address the issue of how to help the people of Limhi free themselves from bondages to the Lamanites. The patience Ammon demonstrates when he was imprisoned by the guards of Limhi was very admirable.
