Our Heavenly Guidance System
Salmon use a magnetic map to guide themselves back to where they were born with incredible precision. The Light of Christ is our magnetic map to guide up back to our heavenly home with similar precision. I think my theme for Easter could be “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give into you.…

Divine Authority, Sublime Young Men
The ancient ordinance of animal sacrifice was completed and ended with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and has been replaced with the ordinance that we call “The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.” I like this story of deacons who helped bring a grown man to Christ. Normally we hear about faithful, long-suffering ministering brothers, or…

Cherishing Life

Right Before Our Eyes
We are witnesses to the Lord hastening His work in our day. The gathering is evident in the acceleration of temple building and increasing numbers of missionaries and expanding enrollment in church seminaries and institutes. Give the Lord equal time (not spare time) in prayer, scripture study, Sabbath worship, and temple service.

I’m sure the answer is yes, and it is in our best interest to prioritize spiritual wholeness over physical healing. Healing from {temporal afflictions} happens in the Lord’s time but…

“Return unto Me … That I May Heal You”
A tree that looks like it has died is one thing but where people are concerned we should always give them more opportunity to grow and reestablish their roots of faith.

As a Little Child
We must divest ourselves of personal ambition if we are to be able to serve the Lord with ultimate effectiveness wherever we are ever called to serve. “…We quote His teachings but we don’t follow them. We admire Him, but we don’t worship Him.”
