    Everything went smoothly getting Savannah to the house and driving to Cedar City. I worried after reading the synopsis that I might not care for our evening show, 39 Steps, but it was honestly hilarious despite the fact that I’m not generally drawn to things that are slapstick and farcical.

    I worked really hard today to get things buttoned up at work before I take the next two days off. That meant staying an extra half hour but I think things are in a good place. I’m looking forward to the next couple of days away with Laura.

    I was feeling somewhat (but not completely) better this morning. Thankfully I have been able today to do a full day’s work effectively, work in the yard, and come to the end of the day feeling almost 100% better.

    I said I wanted a place of resort where the whole family could gather – the place we found tonight, perhaps a tenth of a mile south of Red Creek Flat could quite possibly qualify. It is very accessible while still being acceptably secluded. I absolutely intend to come back here often.
