Mariah’s surgery
Forest thing this morning I have Mariah s blessing in advance of her surgery. By the time I checked in with Laura less than 40 minutes after Mariah was shredded to go in to surgery Laura informed me that Mariah was already done and just waiting for her to wake up. Little did I know…

Bunny gone missing
I’ve failed to record this yet but last Friday after to days of rain I knew I needed to check on Coconut in her enclosure. I had gone to the dentist for some fillings in the morning and spent the day working from home. In the middle of the day I learned that the family…

Medical day
I had a dental check-up yesterday and this morning I got a couple of cavities filled as well as having most of my old fillings replaced. At the same time Laura was taking Mariah to see a surgeon to evaluate the hernia that she had been diagnosed with on Wednesday. The news from that was…

Anticipation
I’ve spent the last couple of days looking forward to my hiking trip this Thursday. On Saturday I did the last of my shopping and packing. At this point I only need to gather a couple of bags from the fridge and fill up my water bag and I’m ready to leave. I’m enjoying a…

Cleaning and movies
We are trying a new tradition of cleaning the whole house every evening followed by a movie before bed. This is the second night so we still have links to work out but it is hopefully a way to encourage daily work and consistent tidiness while drawing the kids toward the family.
