A transition step
Laura was over cleaning again today. She’s finding that she can do more with the kids than before. I’m sure part of it is that she has a purpose and direction. She also found that by being here she was available to give Stephanie some just in time direction so that Stephanie was interacting with…

Spring cleaning
With the prospect of DCFS coming to visit, Laura came to the house around noon and began cleaning the house. It took until well after nine but it is mostly done besides my bedroom.

Easter is about the love of Jesus
I just have to say that Easter was perfect because I was able to convey to the boys that the central message of this holiday is what Jesus did for us because He loves us. I went into the lesson unsure how it would play out and while the boys were still their energetic and…

Setting the house in order
I listened to President Eyring’s talk from Women’s Conference on the bus this morning and knew that I needed to share the unity and love portion with the kids so that’s what we did for family home evening tonight. I also shared the idea Laura had that we give one nice toy or book to…

Primary class
After reaching the boys in primary today I am not convinced than ever that this is what they need. I’ve already promised the boys that within a couple of weeks their bribery tests at the beginning of sharing time will end and that when they begin to behave in primary they will gain the chance…
