I wonder if Ammon remembered to prepare the king’s horses because he considered the possibility that conducting the king to the great might bring even greater opportunities for him or that he might meet some of his brethren in the process? Regardless of what he might have thought his motives were undoubtedly pure.

I wonder what Alma knew of the sons of Mosiah when he met them on the road? Had he heard any news from their time among the Lamanites? Had they heard of him being made chief judge or of him stepping down from that position?

It is not always the case that justice from the Lord is swift as it was when Ammonihah was destroyed Ina day. What is consistent is that when justice from the Lord is served it is sure—the Lord cannot be denied when He determined that the time for repentance has passed.
