Revealed truth
I had always believed that all truth would be made known to the world eventually (“shouted from the rooftops” was the phrase) but my reading tonight suggests something more targeted. The Lord intend to make all things known to those who serve Him but not necessarily everyone else. Others are only guaranteed to receive those…

A promise in common
The promise from Alma to Helaman about the plates being preserved if he would exert all his effort and counsel with God in prayer was surely repeated from Moroni to Joseph Smith centuries later. God will make all things work out to fulfill his purposes for those who earnestly seek to do His will.

Amulek makes it clear that exercising faith in Christ to try the seed means praying and also showing charity consistent with your faith.
