    After being promised that he would live to see the destruction of his people of he didn’t repent, Coriantumr fought against four different usurpers before the final destruction of his people. It’s amazing the various times when he could have been killed but was preserved as prophesied.

    As I wonder why it was that Coriantumr was prophesied to live whether he repented or not, it occurred to me that it might have been a test – the Lord was not looking to have Coriantumr repent because of a threat of death – He wanted the repentance to be sincere.
