Lost tribes
I realized today that we have no indication that the lost tribes were visited by Jesus in a single group. They could have been visited as any number of groups. At the last, there was a group roughly datorate from the Nephites that Christ intended to visit while the Nephites were sleeping and/or toiling to…

Record of the lost tribes
I look forward to the day when the record of the lost tribes of Israel comes to light and we have yet another witness of the divinity and ministry of Christ.

Law vs prophets
Jesus taught that the law was fulfilled but that all the words of the prophets would be fulfilled that went beyond that day. An example of that is the prophecy that the sons of Levi would again offer an offering in righteousness in the later days even though the law of Moses is finished. The…

Judge not
I never considered how important the injunction is to judge not. If followers of Christ are to do good without seeking recognition then we should not expect to recognize all that they do in righteousness thus it is incumbent upon us to withhold judgement because if what we can’t expect to know. Alms
Having instructed the people in the attitudes of godliness, Jesus follows up with instructions on how to treat their fellow men, especially people in need. He teaches that men should have an attitude that sells not the recognition of Earth in their good works.

Easter rebirth
It is fitting that I read of Christ visiting the Nephites on this matter weekend. It occurs to me that when Christ comes again he will do it in the spring – around Easter/Passover. When he reveals himself to the world he will do so by declaring the truth and making clear to whom he…

Introspection
What would you ponder in hours of silent darkness after great destruction followed by hearing the voice of the Lord? I would imagine much soul-searching and reflections upon how you had responded to invitations to repent prior to the destruction.

Compensatory blessings
I think the ultimate example of compensatory blessings is the biggest shift from unparalleled destruction to hearing the voice of Christ explaining what had happened and inviting the people to return to Him and be healed. It reminds me of an extreme example of what we have been invited to look for in this day…

Destruction and fear
As I read of the destruction at the death of Christ I realize that the fear those people experienced and the destruction they faced were so maybe that it makes or far and loss to coronavirus shrink to nothing. (Maybe a bit more than nothing in places like New York and Italy.)
