That which ye have seen me do
The private instruction of the Savior for His disciples must have been impactful. I can only image what it would be like for Him to come while they were among their brethren who had been chosen by Him.

So much more
I never really thought about how much more it a foundation Jesus laid for the Nephites than are recorded in the Book of Mormon. That foundation set the stage for generations of peace.

Perspective
From our human perspective we can often conclude that those who are not living the comments are happier or more free than this who are but we forget the promises that obedience beings that we will be brought up as calves in the stall.

An apt reminder
It should tell us something about what Jesus wanted the people to know that He quoted Isaiah saying “the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed but my kindness shall not depart from thee.”

A treatise on faith
I’ve always known that Hebrews 11 spoke about faith but I never noticed before that what Paul is talking about in chapter 11 flows seamlessly into chapters 12 and 13 to form a more complete sermon on the subject.

A better covenant, established upon better promises.
We often talk about a new covenant but I love how Paul emphasizes that it is a better covenant and how he explains the foundation of better promises that makes it a better covenant.

The marvelous work
Where are we on the marvelous work that the Lord promised in this last day? The work has commenced but I wonder if we are still near the beginning or if we are coming anywhere near the end.
