    I wonder how Jesus felt hearing that John the Baptist had been killed. Has he known it would come? Did it signal a new phase in His own mission?

    How often do people turn to the scriptures to find some justification for a wickedness they desire to pursue? The Nephites did it. The RLDS have done it. I’m sure there are many instances that are not so well known and not just related to plural marriage.

    I never noticed before that the scriptures clearly state that there were several women who were consistently with Jesus and the apostles. None of their names are surprises. Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Susannah are the ones named.
