    The vision of Nephi was of Christ. The vision of Christ was them tired to the images from Lehi’s dream so that Nephi would understand the meaning of the dream.

  • Lehi’s dream

    I imagine that Lehi understood the symbolism of his dream but Nephi only heard the story from his father so he sought to see fit himself and know the meaning.
