To which of my creditors…
It struck me as interesting that the Lord would ask “to which of my creditors have I sold you?” It should be telling to the people of the covenant if they stop to consider that the Lord has no creditors—he is the creditor for all who have spiritual debts.

Quoting Isaiah
I have always thought that there were parts of Isaiah that were quoted more than once. I finally took the time to verify that the words of Isaiah that Jacob quotes in 2 Nephi 6 were also quoted by Nephi in 1 Nephi 21.

The second plates
I never connected the fact that Nephi made his second set of plates after separating from the Lamanites. I wonder if part of the reason was so there would be a record that the Lamanites were unaware of in case they destroyed one record.

A stumbling block before me
When we encounter stumbling blocks, can we tell if they were placed there by the Lord? It’s it just a matter of faith that determines is we believe they were?

Needing a spokesman
I wonder if and Joseph Smith both needing someone else to act as spokesman helped to keep them humble after they had been called—a reminder that it was not their work to do alone.

A public blessing
I never noticed before that although Lehi is speaking to Jacob here he is also speaking for the other brothers to hear and learn. These blessings must have been given in a family council type of setting.

A blessing for Sam
I have always wondered about a blessing for Sam. Lehi blessed Nephi, Zoram, Lankan and Lemuel, the sons of Ishmael, the children of Laman and Lemuel, Jacob, and Joseph. Closing witness
I never before considered that Nephi’s closing witness is of the very thing that the angel told him he should witness after seeing the vision of the tree of life for himself.

When and how
I hope to see the day when we receive the words of the lost tribes of Israel to acompanhando the words of the Jews and the words of the Nephites.

Look not for another Messiah
Nephi prophesies that the day will come when the Jews will no longer look for another Messiah besides Jesus. I wonder if they will do that in s way that we will notice from the outside.
