Grouping people
Nephi’s counsel to his people about not writing off the gentiles but understanding that the Lord covenants with all those and only those who believe in Him is a lesson to all disciples. We must always see people as individuals, specifically individuals with infinite potential as children of God.

I just realized the meaning of the phrases about robbing the poor because of fine sanctuaries and fine clothing. I have the impression that the time will come when the gold plates will be revealed again to men when the words of the sealed portion shall be read upon the rooftops by the power of God.

Clarity
Did the people of Nephi who heard his prophecy concerning their descendants being visited by Christ rejoice in that knowledge?

Glory in plainness
When Nephi says that he is speaking plainly that no man can err he isn’t kidding.

Salvation and destruction
The message at the end if the section of it is interesting. Essentially he is saying that a judgement will come where all shall be addicted except those who have been downtrodden.

From one extreme to the other
The covenant people shall go from being conquered to overthrowing the conquerer of the earth. They shall go from ignoring and trampling the command of their God and complaining that He has abandoned them to praising Him and trusting in Him over anything else.
