Fleeing to safety
Nephi fleeing from his brothers follows the pattern of his father in fleeing from Jerusalem. I mistakenly thought that Nephi made the second set of plates right after the first set of plates but it appears to have been decades later – at least 20 years later.

Shattered
It was only says after the death of Lehi that his family broke apart emotionally. The split between the older and younger brothers existed before he died but I think that Laman and Lemuel never again attempted to love peacefully after they got angry at Nephi for admonishing them after Lehi had died. Ye have not sought to recover them
The Lord points out that the gentiles have me no effort to recover the Jews but rather denounce then. Consider how differently the Latter-day Saints have acted by performing posthumous baptisms of Jews even after being told to stop by the leaders of the Jews. Of course we should honor the agreements that the check…

They rob the poor
They rob the poor because of their fine sanctuaries; they rob the poor because of their fine clothing; Does this indicate that they rob the poor in order to obtain these things, it that obtaining these fine things is necessarily an act of robbing the poor? I have always felt that having these things is…
