Confirmation
I notice that Lehi never spoke to the children of Jacob – suggesting that Jacob had no children at that time or if he did they were very young. Since Joseph was younger than Jacob he might very well have still been as young as I wondered yesterday.

Little Joseph
I wonder how young Joseph was when Lehi spoke these words to him. I think he was quite young, not a youth eyeing life on his own but a child still in the close care of his parents.

The great plan
The whole plan of salvation can be done up in these 48 words: “All things have been done in the wisdom of Him who knoweth all things. Adam fell that men might be and men are that they might have joy. And the Messiah cometh in the fullness of time, that He may redeem the…

Precepts of men

The spirit of deep sleep
“Ye shall be drunken but not with wine, ye shall stagger but not with strong drink. For behold, the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep.” This spirit of deep sleep, causing people to be drunken and to stagger, will leave men unable to think clearly it observe correctly the connections…
