Warring posterity
Nephi saw his seed fighting among themselves. I realized that given enough generations, virtually any bloodline would see the same behavior among their posterity. My question is: how can that be overcome? I’d love to instill in my children an attachment to family so strong that they would never turn on each other.

No middle ground
With the absolute clarity of Nephi’s words a person, and especially a devout Jew, would have no option to be neutral about Nephi’s claims. Their only option is to reject those claims it accept them as potentially and very crucially true. (Crucial because of they are true the implications are inescapable.)

Prophesy of Christ
Nephi takes the words of Isaiah which shall of a coming Savior Android then make abundantly clear how the people can recognize Christ when he comes.

Clear to the Jews
The prophecies that Nephi says are clear to the Jews may not be clear to modern Jews as they were to forget Jews.

All the proud shall be cut down
No matter how terrible or effective one might be, if they believe they are the final authority they will come to learn that they are not a substitute for Jehovah even if they feel they are doing His work.

Rule over their oppressors
I wonder if Israel’s dominance in the middle East could be conducted fulfillment of this prophecy.

Flee in fear
In stark contrast to those who trust in the Lord, others will be scattered and trodden down because they did not put their trust in the Lord but instead we found fighting His purposes.

Trust and not be afraid
Isaiah 12 (2 Nephi 22) expresses my feelings. The Lord is my strength and my song as well as my salvation. I trust Him and need never be afraid.

“He shall not judge after the sight of his eyes”
It is a defining feature of the Savior that He will judge based on more than what His eyes see or what His ears hear. We too should tune into the spirit of righteousness and equity we make judgements.

Tools in the Lord’s hand
Just because someone (the king of Assyria in this case) claims to be working for himself doesn’t mean that the Lord is not using him to accomplish His own designs.
