Rapid but not instantaneous

Swift witness against those that oppress

Once forsaken
For the prophecy about “more shall be the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife” to be fulfilled, the redeemed of Zion must first have been (or appeared to be) forsaken of the Lord. That being the case, when we feel forsaken it may be part of the path.

Among the gentiles the Lord will eventually cut off from among them anything that is if interest to the world but without eternal value. People will be disappointed if they are interested in the wealth and desires of the world rather than turning to God and things of eternal value.
