We should be generous in our judgements of others, trusting that their fruits will reveal them in time. Likewise we should be sure to act on the knowledge that we are given lest the rain come and we are washed away for having not built on the solid foundation.

The doctrine unmasked
The doctrine of Christ is the same thing that the law of Moses was always intended to point toward. The only change of that there is no longer any need to offer burnt offerings. Declaring peace and looking to Christ were always there messaged that the prophets tried to convey.

Many chances
Jesus testifies of the many opportunities to receive his protection that were available to those who were destroyed and then sure those who had been spared that they shall yet have many chances to receive His blessings.

A clean sweep
The destruction at the time of Jesus’ death had been targeted to those areas where the righteous had been rejected and as Jesus recounted the destruction that had taken place He also invited those who survived to come and receive the benefit of His protective care.

A thin red line
There is a qualitative difference between those who enter a secret combinations and those who are wicked but do not join in such combinations. For the Nephites during the ministry of Christ, the only thing that those outside the secret combinations could agree upon was that they were disgusted with that secret combinations.

They did not ignorantly sin
Every one of the judges, lawyers, and priests who formed the new secret covenant to defy the law has been old enough to understand the existential threat they faced at the time that the Nephites were gathered together into one body for protection against the Gadiantons.
