While waiting for Jesus
I forget how much the twelve disciples did for the people while they waited for Jesus to come on the second day. They taught, baptized, and received the Holy Ghost as promised before Jesus appeared again among them.

Guard the sacrament
To those called to minister the sacrament Jesus classified that they should not knowingly let people partake unworthily – even as they continued to allow all (worthy or not) to join when they met together.

Forbid them not
The commandment to forbid them not from coming when ye meet together is one that individuals have broken which had caused the resentment and alienation which makes those who feel excluded want to fight back.

Why only one?
Why did Jesus only give power to one of his Nephite disciples to bless the sacrament? It would seem that there would be enough people talking the sacrament that more would be needed for the task. I also wonder if that one was asking the three who were saved from death. If so that would…

Behold your little ones
After healing the sick Jesus called for the children. Only part of the multitude were close enough to hear his words and with the children gathered around Him it was probably a smaller group that could hear Him than at other times.

More wounds for healing
I’m sure that there were not than a usual number of people in need of healing even nearly a year after the great destruction had come to their land.

Latter day promises
Gentiles here who reject the fullness of the gospel will be trodden down by the remnant of the house of Israel when they are ripe. Those who embrace the gospel and remain faithful will be spared.

Being known but unknown
What did the people feel to hear that Jesus had spoken of them to his people in Palestine but that due to unbelief they were allowed to not understand His meaning?

Law vs Covenants and Prophets
Fulfilled and ended the law of Moses but fulfilling the law did nothing to negate the prophecies of the prophets nor to alter the covenant that God made with His people.

Core doctrine
The first thing that Christ taught was fit the people to live a higher law, the same one that he had taught in Palestine.
