A direct answer
I never connected before that Amulek’s discourse in the Resurrection was a direct response to the trap that Zeezrom had tried to lay. He was answering how good could provide a resurrection for all but not save people in their sins.

The mark of the Amlicites
I wonder if the Amlicites marked themselves like the Lamanites before they joined their armies or only after those armies merged. It would seem that they would not want to mark themselves like the Lamanites before they merged if they had any thought of drawing away more Nephites to their side.
