When Alma says that those who reject the words of God lose what they have until they know nothing that doesn’t necessarily mean that they forget, but rather that even if they remember the words they lose their anchor because they have rejected the truth.

I can imagine how frustrating it must have been for Amulek to listen to Zeezrom trying to manipulate him and then twisting his answers to get the people riled up against the truth.

When Amulek testified against the people of Ammonihah, how much did he know the details of their wicked ways? How much had he been aware of but turned a blind eye toward until the day he repented and hearkened to the code of the anger to take Alma in and feed him?

When Alma cried repentance in Ammonihah he spoke of the Lamanites being converted at some future day? Was he aware that his friends, the sons of Mosiah, were having great success among the Lamanites? Had they already begun their correspondence with the Nephites at that time?

When Alma was told that the people of Ammonihah were studying to destroy the liberty of “His” people what did that mean? Were they selling to destroy the liberty of believers?
