The records were sent forth
I never noticed before that we are explicitly told that the sacred records held by the projects were sent forth (copied no doubt) among the people – all except those parts that Alma had declared to Helaman that should be held back lest the people pursue secret combinations after reading about them.

Tyrants of necessity
Executing those who would not take up arms to defend their country is a tyrannical thing to do – and yet Moroni did that after restoring Pahoran to the judgment seat. Taking action
Based on the assurances he took from Moroni’s epistle, Pahoran was ready to enact a plan to secure justice against the king-men and to provide for the armies as they deserved. Instead of being angry at Moroni he chose to enlist the aid of Moroni.

When they had nothing temporal to rely on, Helaman and his men prayed and received assurances from the Lord so that they could be at peace and act with faith and determination despite a lack of resources.
