I never thought about the fact that even today we have situations where people are declared dead only to be discovered alive. I imagine that happened more in Alma’s day than in ours so the queen’s question to Ammon was very reasonable, as was his answer. That doesn’t make her faith any less impressive.

It is one thing to agree to believe but another to honestly believe so completely that he could be overcome by the spirit in his first prayer. Lamoni was a remarkable man.

This is the Spirit of revelation
“I know that Jesus Christ shall come.” The Spirit of revelation will always testify of Christ. Anything else that it testifies of at any time will be explicitly connected to Christ and His mission.
