    Lamoni is humbled as he learns of the faithfulness of Ammon. Admin is humble enough to not see his actions as being very noteworthy.

    Lamoni must have felt the influence if the spirit whispering that Ammon was something special in a spiritual way and he insisted that feeling add meaning that Ammon was the Great Spirit.

  • Confronting bullies

    The Lamanites who scattered Lamoni’s flocks at the waters of Sebus we no more or less than bullies. While they might gain some wealth by scattering the flocks it sounds like much of their motivation was simply to cause trouble fit others.

  • Immigrants vs Visitors

    When Lamoni asks if Ammon wanted to dwell in the land I get the impression that he was generally harder on any Nephites who wandered into his land than on any who we intent on leaving the Nephites. (Based on his question I imagine that there were some few who did defect from the Nephites.)
