Alma 47 Amalickiah probably didn’t plan on becoming king of the Lamanites before having the Lamanites conquer the Nephites but He certainly jumped when he saw the opportunity. Alma 38 This counsel to Shiblon parallels the counsel to Helaman minus anything related to keeping the sacred records. Even in the counsel that is included this is a shorter version possibly because Alma had time to share such counsel with Shiblon throughout their shared mission to the Zoramites which didn’t include Helaman.
