Today I made my first invention out of Tinker Toys. It was like a windmill sort of. I didn’t give it a name.

This week I wrote my dad a letter. I told him that I didn’t want to live with him. (I don’t actually know the date of that sentence as it has no date but “12/16/85” is attached to the entry that immediately follows it in the same ink and handwriting – which is the remainder…

Today I made my first Chinese star and it flies perfectly. And in our stake Christmas party Ken and I have to sing and Ken has to sing a solo and I saw fourteen of my friends. Eight were singing and six were dancing.

Yesterday I went to the Thanksgiving YSI dinner. My friend Cory Johnson was there too and I got to sit by him. He and I played team tag with Ken and his (Cory’s) brother Shane.

Two weeks ago in my soccer game when we were winning 4-1 and it was the other team’s throw in the other team was going to chest it but I stuck my foot out so they couldn’t. I picked it up with my left foot, bounced it with my right knee and then hooked it…
