Exodus 33I had not realized that the Lord promised to drive the other people out of the promised land for Israel. That shows how much more faithless their later declarations were that the people of the land were too strong for them to take the land.

Exodus 26I had forgotten that the tabernacle included a large walled off courtyard where the sacrifices were performed. As I read the description of how it was to be built I began to realize what a massive load it was to carry around, even if it was made mainly of cloth.

Exodus 25Interesting details such as the fact that the staves used to carry the ark were never to be removed. I am surprised that we have made it to this point without mention of the golden calf.

Exodus 23 – 24Wow. The Lord commanded them not to follow a majority or be influenced by one toward that which was not right – even in the name of helping the poor! He also told them to assist their enemies and those who hate them in doing justice and seeing justice done to them.
