Genesis 3I notice that in the biblical account there is no indication of covenants – only unhappy consequences – after eating the fruit. The image described here is of a god who is jealous of his position and desires to keep man lower than himself. No wonder the world does not understand the Father.

Genesis 2I love how the scriptures call them “the man and his wife.” There should be no confusion that they were married from the beginning and belonged together.
