  • A solid place

    Christ is the solid place upon which men can build safely. He alone is the destination upon which they can land in the seat of spiritual storm and not be sweet away if they will cling to Him. Any other foundation will crumble in the storm sooner or later.

  • We prophesy of Christ

    The scriptures are replete with prophecies of Christ. There can be no doubt that the law of Moses was meant to point toward a Redeemer.

  • King of Kings

    All things and all people are subject unto Christ and eventually all will acknowledge that to be true.

  • A righteous judge

    Christ gave His life so that a righteous judgement could be given to men. Without His gift either men would be universally rejected from eternal life or they would be unfairly rewarded. Because of His intercession we can righteously be accepted into heaven.

  • Jehovah

    The Lord told Moses that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob didn’t know his name as Jehovah – only as God Almighty.

  • Adam built an alter

    Among the first things Adam and Eve did once they were cast out of the Garden of Eden was to build an altar and offer prayer to God. Though they were cast out they sought only to stay as close to their father as was still possible. Do I have that same yearning.
