Because Coriantumr expected something different than Moronihah he was able to quickly capture the largest cities in the land (the internal different didn’t help). Also because they had different expectations Coriantumr was not prepared for the response by Moronihah.

I wonder if any of the Nephites heard the words of Samuel about the Nephites vs the Lamanites and we’re drawn to his description of the Nephites as a chosen and blessed people.

The Lord ensured that there would be no room for the neighbors to doubt regarding the signs of His birth and death. I wonder if there will be things in our modern day that will have undeniable signs—signs which can only be disbelieved through an open choice to disbelieve.
