I never realized how much Isaiah soaks about the Savior judging and being an example of a righteous judge.

A righteous judge
Christ gave His life so that a righteous judgement could be given to men. Without His gift either men would be universally rejected from eternal life or they would be unfairly rewarded. Because of His intercession we can righteously be accepted into heaven.

The Eternal Judge
The prophets repeatedly seek refugee in the judgements of the Just Judge – perhaps because they spend so much time being judged unfairly by their fellow men.

Thy king, the mighty one of Jacob
When the Lord says that He is “thy king” He is speaking to those who have chosen to be ruled by Him (though He is the rightful King even of those who do not accept His sovereignty) and thus it is a tell of affection rather than dominion. As “the mighty one of Jacob” He…
