A ray of hope
I notice a ray of hope in the words of Jeremiah—the Lord is always willing to turn back from His decreed wrath for a people who will repent and turn to Him. If they heard that they could choose to repent rather than get angry at the punishments he outlined because of their wickedness.

Immigrants, orphans, and women
