    This is another example of the difference between outward displays of righteousness and true inward righteousness. Rending your garments is an outward display but if you are truly sorrowful your heart will be rent.

    Joel 1 My very first question is: where does Joel fit chronologically with other Old Testament prophets? The Bible Dictionary helped to cement my confusion.
