    Lamentations 3 This seems very appropriate today with the unfortunate outcome of our elections. I feel the same type of sorrow as Jeremiah expresses here of faith even in the midst of tribulation and opposition but also of sorrow from the weight of those challenges.

    Lamentations 1 – 2 Jeremiah may have prophesied all the judgments against Jerusalem but he did not desire that she should be afflicted. What he wanted was that she should be righteous.
