A mighty sermon
I can just imagine what it would have been like to have the risen Lord expound all the scriptures as they walked. They would have remembered that experience the rest of their lives.

Herod’s intent
When Jesus was brought before Herod, Herod was hoping for some kind of entertainment or spectacle. I’ll bet that was why Jesus was silent before him. I also begin to wonder if Herod’s desire for spectacle was a motivation behind the mockery that the soldiers inflicted on Jesus.

When thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
I still remember when I first heard this counsel the title of a Melchizedek Priesthood lesson manual. Explicit inclusion
I never noticed before that the scriptures clearly state that there were several women who were consistently with Jesus and the apostles. None of their names are surprises. Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Susannah are the ones named.

A house divided against itself
This is what I am dealing with. There is no unity here. I am no longer willing to bide my time and hope people will come around. I need to live like a human and let others learn to live in harmony with that.
