All talk
The priests of King Noah declared that salvation came by the law of Moses. While their answer was wrong it was also meaningless because they didn’t teach the law which they claimed would bring salvation. That fact exposed their hypocrisy in arguing with Abinadi.

Noah shall know that I am the Lord
When Abinadi came the second time he prophesied that King Noah would know that the Lord was God. That is a direct correction for the pride that Noah had displayed.

The gift of insignificance
How liberating is it too realize our own insignificance – the fact that nothing we do wrong is beyond the ability of our Savior to right and that no task set before us is many to be accomplished by us alone. Knowing that we will be expected to seek aid keeps us humble so that…
