In true team fashion, Limhi and Ammon called all the people together so that all could voice their views on how to deliver themselves from the Lamanites. They knew that everyone was United in their desire to be delivered.

The record says that Abinadi spoke with power and authority after Noah had commanded him to be killed but I think he spoke with power and authority before that. It may be just because of their inability to take him away that some others began to recognize the power and authority that he already had.

I wonder if the prophecy of Abinadi about the people of Noah being destroyed and leaving a record behind was a motivator for Limhi to have the records translated that his people found years later.

I notice that the language switches from first person to third person after Zeniff confers the kingdom on Noah. This indicates to me that Noah either kept no record and Mormon had to use the words of scorer record keeper or else Mormon had to cut through the vain record that Noah had kept of…
