Passing it along
Apparently being converted as the people were when King Benjamin spoke did not mean that the people were effective in passing along what they had learned to their children. In fact we see evidence that over time some of those converted people lost the strength in their conviction.

Division of labor
Why did Mosiah choose to have the ecclesiastical authority separate from the political authority? He himself was qualified to administer both as king and seer. Maybe it was because of being a seer or maybe he just felt that thesre was enough work to have each be a separate position.

Children of Amulon
I just realized that it was only after the people of Alma had been in bondage and escaped – after all the Nephites had gathered to Zerahemla – that the children of Amulon and his brethren from their Nephite wives learned of the conduct of their fathers.

Destination unknown
When Alma led his people through the wilderness or if bondage they weren’t intent on finding the land of Zerahemla where none of them had ever seen but the Lord led them to the main body of Nephites date than Ammon was able to lead the people of Limhi there where he had come from.

Visit them in their afflictions
There are a number things we need to know about God. We need to know that he can deliver His children from their afflictions. We also need to know that he can comfort them during afflictions. If we don’t recognize that He had multiple avenues available to address or concern then we will feel abandoned…

They hushed their fears
It seems to me that the phrase “they hushed their fears” indicates that they ceased focusing on and reacting to their fears and instead focused on their faith and called upon the Lord. They turned diem the volume in their fears so that they could time in to their faith.

Time to prepare
I never chartered before that Anna and his people didn’t simply run from the army of Noah, they had enough warning to prepare to leave by gathering their belongings.

A benefit of humility
I suspect that the guards of the Lamanites to the extra wine without suspicion because the people of Limhi had been humble and passive for some time so that the guards saw no threat from their prisoners.

They did humble themselves
Before the people of Limhi could be delivered or enter a covenant they first had to become humble in their actions. That was especially important because they had been warned about their wickedness.

Allowed to fight
I wonder why Limhi allowed his people to go to battle against the Lamanites when the Lamanites had refrained from attacking then. He knew they couldn’t win the fight and might have suspected that the Lamanites were trying to provoke his people.
